Founder Terry Hucks and his wife Rochelle are helping feed, house, and educate the seriously poor on the Island of Oriental Mindoro, Philippines, in a very remote mountainous area where two villages of the Mangyan tribe exist. They provide education, daily food, school uniforms and transportation for 37 children, and also help to support the two local pastors of the churches in these villages. In addition, because work in this remote area is so difficult to find, they have established a Feeding Center to provide meals for those who can’t afford food. They also help provide grass-hut housing for widows and others who have no place to live.
